It’s a fact: Seattle and the surrounding area is one of the hottest markets in the entire country. There’s tremendous demand for homes and a continued shortage of supply.
In order to successfully purchase a good home in this market, you must compete with other buyers. And to win in a competitive situation, you need an agent who can make your offer strand out. One who can skillfully work on your behalf with the listing agent. I have an extensive track record of success when it comes to getting my clients the homes they want.
Thanks to our thriving local economy, the natural beauty of our region and several other factors, our real estate market is one of the hottest in the country as droves of people come into the area. Thus home prices are rising and many residences frequently receive multiple offers getting over asking price. But to get the most money for your home, the proper steps must be followed. It’s not as simple as putting up a sign in your yard. To the contrary, if you don’t do things right, you’re leaving money on the table.
The details matter - whether it's the price you set or the way you prepare your home for sale. It requires a seasoned professional who understands the market, pays attention to detail and is committed to getting the job done right.
E.J. came highly recommended by close friends. We were extremely pleased with his performance. He was patient, incredibly friendly, informative, and responsive. E.J. helped us confirm the house was the right choice for us by taking the time to show us many others. He kept us on track to efficiently and successfully negotiate the terms of our purchase. We feel very lucky to have worked with E.J. and we will definitely work with him in the future.

We enjoyed working with EJ so much during the sale of our first home in 2011 and he was our first choice when it came to purchasing our next home. EJ was consistently professional, personable and was always supportive of our wishes and needs. He always let us guide each interaction without voicing his opinions which could have biased our decision-making; this is such a rare and respectable quality. It was extremely enjoyable to work with him during the stress of selling and buying a home. We will use him again in the future without a doubt. Many thanks to EJ for working with us as a team so we could be living life very comfortably and happy in our new home!

EJ is a tremendous real estate coach. He knows the rules and details of a world that can be confusing, frustrating, and downright bizarre. He helped us navigate all our options and was patient with us every step of the way, while still making sure we met deadlines and ensured a smooth transaction. This blend of timeliness and flexibility is crucial in a real estate partner. And when you finally find that right house, EJ is a world-class negotiator who will make sure you get the best deal possible.

E.J. recently facilitated the sale of our home and we were thoroughly impressed with his professional, sincere and effective approach. He is an excellent communicator who took time to work through all of the decision points with us -- typically in person, and with a frank but sensitive style. E.J. was very thorough in gathering the information we needed and was incredibly responsive by e-mail and over the phone. He fought for our interests and we felt very comfortable knowing that he was representing our family.

E.J. is a stellar real estate agent. He helped me through several difficult layers of the house-buying puzzle keeping his unflappable cool when I was in transition stress. He had a delicate touch helping decisions get made when help was needed and facilitating my being in charge of the process when I wanted to be. He fought for my interests, but kept some tough situations conflict-free. I recommend him highly.

I come from a family of real estate professionals. My grandfather, a Chinese immigrant who arrived in 1910 with $20 to his name, acquired a small piece of land in 1929 in a trade with another immigrant. He slowly acquired more. My father followed his father's footsteps and turned Grandpa's holdings into a family-owned real estate business.
As a boy, I spent countless hours driving in the family station wagon with my dad, evaluating properties for purchase and sale. In 1992, I first got my real estate license. I derive tremendous satisfaction from working with all different kinds of clients at various stages in their lives. For me, working in real estate is about helping clients get exactly what they need. There's nothing more satisfying.
I live in the Mt. Baker neighborhood of Seattle with my wife and two kids.
